The project is based on the concept of maps as volatile tools, subject to manipulation and falsification. The relationship we establish with maps is one of trust and accuracy, however, methods of representing reality and measuring territories are not only fallible but also subject to control, data removal and sabotage, for a variety of reasons and contexts. The works in this project explore cartography and registered territory as ‘Aspect change’, in which ‘factual’ objects designated as objective, in fact have various errors, distortions and hidden meanings. Maps and topographical elements are thus activities far from neutral and subject to manipulation and fabrication.

This project is presented as an assembly and composition of images, photographs, archive material, text and installation. The aim is to relate the content and forms of interpretation and suggestion of contents considered reliable and ‘real’ or that correspond to the ‘unquestionable’ reality of the representation of territory.
