Lives and works in Utrecht, regularly taking part in projects in Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands. Holds a BA in Fine Arts, from the School of Fine Arts - University of Porto (2012) and a MA in Fine Arts & Design, focused on artistic research, from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (2019). Worked until recently on the ongoing research project ‘On Constellations’ centered on archives, images and storytelling and their intersection with colonial narratives. This project was supported by a research grant from Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian (2018-2019). ‘On Constellations’ started in 2017 and has developed for the last 3 years into different phases. While exploring archival practices, storytelling and the deconstruction of colonial narratives, the work embraces diverse media such as installation, video, image and text. The work methodologies rely considerably on an experimental work and research, using montage and composition in order to suggest new interpretations and possibilities in narrative and knowledge and deconstruction of fascist values. Recently the research interests have been extending to archival practices on queer and crip relationships within a community or institution.

Currently working on the ongoing project ‘Crip Queer Aid’, focusing research on the intersection of Crip and Queer Time.
